The country enters on 01.12.2021 in the world of the health pass.
The “green” (???) Covid-19 pass will go into effect in Georgia starting Dec. 1, requiring the public to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination, testing or cure to enter certain facilities. NCDC Deputy Chief Paata Imnadze said that due to Georgia’s low vaccination rate, only “green” pass holders should have access to various activities that are not vitally important.
Food service establishments: cafes, restaurants, bars (open and closed spaces) Cinemas Theaters Opera Museums Concert halls Entertainment centers Casinos, gambling facilities Spa facilities Gyms Hotels Mountain resorts
Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia previously stated that rules, such as wearing masks and social distancing, will remain in effect, noting that COVID passes cannot replace any of the regulations.
A total of 952,831 people have been fully vaccinated in the country so far, representing 33.4 percent of Georgia’s population.
